Allyl PAGs are used as intermediates in the manufacture of silicone polyethers such as antifoams, foam stabilizers, additives for PU, cosmetics, and paints. The allyl PAGs from GEO SC are available with a free OH group or with methyl capping. The advantage of capping is that it avoids unwanted side reactions at the OH group. This is of great importance in PU applications, for example.
