IMPAG Switzerland receives Swiss Arbeitgeber (Employer) Award
In a celebratory atmosphere, the 2019 Swiss Arbeitgeber (Employer) Awards were held in Lake Side Zurich on the 22nd of August 2019. For the second time, IMPAG Switzerland took part in this benchmarking survey on the satisfaction and commitment of its employees and made it to the podium.
The renowned survey behind the Swiss Arbeitgeber Award was held this year for the 19th time by the survey institute icommit. In a scientifically based questionnaire established in practice, employees rate the organizational conditions and relate their personal attitudes towards the company.
The detailed report shows how the employees perceive their current work situation and reveals strengths and weaknesses compared to other similarly sized companies within the industry.
Motivated by coming in 8th place in 2017, IMPAG Switzerland integrated the Swiss Arbeitgeber Award survey into this year’s internal employee survey.
The results of this survey serve a much greater purpose than mere ranking, in that it provides fundamental insights from which corresponding improvements can be derived. In addition to this internal added value, participation also offers the chance to measure oneself against other companies within the industry and across the board. This is what IMPAG Switzerland did and, thanks to the excellent feedback from its employees, took 3rd place in the category “Small companies, 50–99 employees“.
“What a year for celebration! We are very pleased with this achievement,” explains Peter Alder, Managing Director of IMPAG Switzerland. In addition to receiving the award, IMPAG celebrates its 100th anniversary this year and can look back on an eventful and successful history.
“We are delighted at the positive feedback from our employees. We like to see this as confirmation that we are well positioned and on the right track when it comes to corporate culture, appreciation, and employee development. At the same time, this award obliges us not only to maintain the level we have achieved, but also to continue working on raising it further,” Peter Alder asserts.
