Isopropyl myristate (IPM), an ester of myristic acid, is used as an oil component in pharmaceutical products.

IPM is a fast-spreading emulsifier that has moisturizing properties. IPM can be used as a solubilizer in creams, lotions and aerosols.

Given its pediculicidal action, IPM is also used in products for treating head lice.

Stelliesters IPM complies with the EP and the USP, and can be obtained from us in drums (175 kg).
