Healthy, well-kept and beautiful teeth are a prerequisite for a dazzling, beautiful smile. Efficient dental and oral care is essential for the entire human organism as neglected or diseased teeth can lead to other illnesses.

Zinc salts (citrate, gluconate, lactate)

  • Zinc Citrate is the zinc salt of citric acid and inhibits the formation of plaque.
  • Zinc gluconate has an astringent and antibacterial action and contributes to the prophylaxis of inflammations in the oral cavity.
  • Zinc lactate is the zinc salt of lactic acid and has antimicrobial properties. Zinc Citrate neutralizes odorous volatile sulphur compounds (VSC), which are produced in the degradation of amino acids such as cysteine and methionine.

Sodium salts (carbonates and phosphates)

  • Sodium salts prevents tooth decay (caries) through neutralising harmful acids, and hence inhibits the formation of new tartar.  Sodium phosphate has a slightly abrasive action as well as efficient whitening properties.

Additionally, we offer potassium phosphates, which can be used to remineralise tooth enamel in oral care products. Potassium phosphate, with its desentising properties, can make an optimal complement to your oral care.
