People’s growing health consciousness in their selection of foods is creating a stronger demand for nutrition-optimized products. Promitor Soluble Fibre from our partner Tate & Lyle, produced from GMO-free corn, is the perfect ingredient for developing innovations in fibre enrichment and sugar reduction.

This soluble dietary fibre has a high degree of digestive tolerance – twice that of inulin. With its low glycaemic index, neutral flavour and low residual sugar content, Promitor is ideal for a diverse range of applications:

  • Muesli bars and breakfast cereals
  • Snacks, biscuits and Crackers
  • Dairy products
  • Sauces and dips
  • Drinks

Promitor has a fibre content of around 70% and comes in powder or syrup form. Its consumer-friendly labelling, as fibre and maltodextrin, is another advantage allowing it to be used in Clean Label products. High process and storage stability, even at low pH, means the fibre content remains constant over time, so there is no need to overcompensate with higher doses in the recipe during product development.
