Sodium hypochlorite solution: Now also approved for "drinking water disinfection"

Extended FOPH (Federal Office of Public Health) approval for sodium hypochlorite solution 13/14 % (Javel water)

As of January 14, 2021, the FOPH approval of our sodium hypochlorite solution has been extended to the product category "drinking water disinfection" and is now valid for the following uses:

• Community and private swimming pools: water disinfection
• Algicides for swimming pool water
• Drinking water disinfection
• Drinking water disinfection for community, large facilities
• Other drinking water disinfectants
• Other protective agents for liquids in cooling and process systems
• Other disinfectants for the private and the public health sector and other biocide products in the public health sector
