From A for acerola to Z for zinc – we have the right ingredients for strong products.
Vitamin C plus high doses of zinc is considered a proven combination of products. Instead of taking pure ascorbic acid, it is recommended to use the power of acerola cherries.
The natural vitamin C they contain seems to have a greater effect than synthetic vitamin C. Acerola cherries contain 30 times more natural vitamin C than oranges.
We offer acerola powder, with or without carriers, that contains up to 36% vitamin C. The fruit also contains other vitamins like A, B2, and B6, as well as numerous minerals, and is therefore considered a superfood.
Another alternative to acerola powder/extract is Camu Camu extract (20% vitamin C).
As the zinc component for combining with vitamin C, we recommend zinc citrate. This zinc salt contains a high proportion of zinc, at 31%, and is highly bioavailable to humans.
The solubility of zinc citrate is lower than that of other salts, but clear drinks can still be produced.
A natural alternative to zinc citrate is guava extract, containing 4% zinc. With it, you have a wide range of application possibilities open to you.
Too little iron in our body can lead to poor metabolism. This mineral contributes to the normal formation of blood cells and haemoglobin, as well as to the normal functioning of the immune system.
For many consumers, animal products are the main source of iron.
Therefore, given the trend towards plant-based and flexitarian diets, products that substitute for animal foods, in particular, ought to be enriched with iron.
We offer a natural source of iron with our curry leaf extract. This extract is standardized to minimum 3% iron and is water-soluble.
It is recommended to take vitamin C at the same time to ensure effective absorption of plant-based iron.
When it comes to fighting tiredness, the alkaloid caffeine will forever be an essential part of life for many people. Plant extracts like guarana (up to 12% natural caffeine), cola nuts (up to 10%), coffee (up to 5%), green tea (up to 9%), and yerba mate (up to 10%) are versatile in how they can be used.
Depending on the application and product, they can be used in the form of flakes, powders, or liquid extracts. We will gladly advise you on how to use natural caffeine sources in your products.
Another insider tip is ginseng root extract (5% ginsenosides). In Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM), ginsenosides are attributed properties of rejuvenation and improvement of cognitive function*.
As another alternative or addition to ginseng, it is also possible to use ginkgo biloba extracts. According to TCM, these also promote concentration and are said to increase memory performance*.
