We help you to bring colour into an otherwise grey world. With the colour palette of our partner Sensient, we offer those dashes of colour you need to grab your consumers’ attention.

Sensient has been going strong serving the food and beverage industry with high quality, innovative products for more than 100 years.

Its range of colours can be classified into three categories:

  • Synthetic colours offer the advantage of high stability and a wide colour palette. Sensient produces these colours at the highest standard for the global market. The products carry an E number.
  • Natural colours are produced from carefully selected vegetables, plants, minerals and other edible raw materials. Despite their natural origin, these products are classified as additives under food law and carry an E number.
  • Colouring foodstuffs have enjoyed increasing popularity in recent years. These products are approved as ingredients (without an E number) and are obtained from fruit and vegetables such as safflower, beet, capsicum, carrot etc., and are available as extracts or concentrates.

Our current innovations from Sensient:

  • Sensient has launched a fresh new line of products in EU organic quality. With more to follow, there are presently four different colour tones based on oranges and black carrots, elderberry and beet. Naturally, these are all colouring foodstuffs that do not carry an E-number.
  • Another new line Sensient offers is its innovative portfolio of titanium dioxide alternatives. This portfolio is marketed under the name of Avalanche, is free of nanoparticles, and also responds to the demand for greater naturalness. The Avalanche products are made on a basis of starches and minerals and stand out for their radiant whiteness and strong opacity.
