The new Preventol®+ / Preventol® Pure+ product line from LANXESS MPP

With the new Preventol®+ / Preventol® Pure+ product line, LANXESS MPP has further improved the sustainable use of its products.

Now, there are three different stages at which customers can be more sustainable in producing their finished goods.

Preventol®

As before, LANXESS MPP offers a wide product portfolio of many different active ingredients and combinations of actives.

One of the aims is to avoid hazard statements on finished product labels (for example, no H317 or EUH 208 labels) through the innovative selection of products. 

Preventol®+

The «+» line even goes a step further. In addition to keeping hazard statements off the labels of finished products, value is also placed on good biodegradability. 

Further advantages are:

• Easy handling and clear, low-viscosity solutions
• Up to 50% natural/nature-identical raw materials 
• The majority of products free of C&L in the final product
• Improved CO₂ balance compared to standard biocides – data available upon request

Preventol® Pure +

The «Pure +» line also consists of products that do not require hazard labelling and are readily biodegradable. 

The «Pure +» line offers the following advantages:

• Easy handling and clear, low-viscosity solutions
• Up to 40% of raw materials are natural and renewable
• Optimized environmental profile (of regional origin & production by preference)
• No C&L in the final product at any dosage
• Reduced carbon footprint compared to standard biocides – additional sustainability KPIs upon request (ISCC+)
