Our partner Tate & Lyle has once again recently increased its production capacities for oat protein (PrOatein) and beta-glucan (PromOat). Thus they can continue to meet the sharply rising demand for these raw materials.

Properties of PrOatein oat protein are:

  • Purely vegetable – thus suitable for vegetarian and vegan diets
  • Rich in essential amino acids
  • Pale beige colour
  • Free-flowing powder
  • Good taste
  • Good water binding capacity
  • Clean Label
  • Obtained from GMO-free oats from Sweden without the use of chemicals, excipients or preservatives.

The soluble oat fibre beta glucan is being used increasingly in the drinks industry:

  • For adjusting viscosity of sugar-free drinks: PromOat can be used to optimize the mouthfeel of sugar-free drinks. A recommended dosage for this application is 0.075–0.1%.
  • PromOat can also be used to reduce the juice content of fruit juice drinks while maintaining the mouthfeel.
